We're so glad you like this vegan selection! We serve the Quinoa Lentil Loaf about every three weeks at Homestyle. The weekend crew is a different team and has not made this item before. However, it may show up as a re-heat (gently re-heated items are regularly served at brunch ;->)

"Is it possible to provide Bragg's Liquid Aminos as a dressing at the salad bar? Also, I've seen their nutritional yeast beyond check out at the condiments stations, but maybe they've been taken? Could the nutritional yeast be provided at the salad station as well?
We tried stocking the Nutritional Yeast last year but it simply did not sell well. We put it out as a condiment just to use it up, but it is too expensive to offer as a "free" condiment. So is the Liquid Aminos. We're sorry.

Not a rumor. The Marketplace Grill carries vegan sausage for breakfast and brunch seven days a week. Please ask :-)

We are seeking new packaged products that meet Real Food Challenge criteria. Unfortunately the Perfect Bar does not. It also has a significantly higher price point than the other bars we carry. We're sorry.

We use Skippy Peanut Butter. The bread is Galasso's 12 Grain with the following ingredients:Wheat flour, malted barley, water, bulgur wheat, wheat bran, sunflower, rye, oats, triticale, barley, yellow corn, millet, flaxseed, rice flour, buckwheat, wheat bran, sugar, yeast, cracked wheat, soybean oil, vital wheat gluten, salt, dry molasses, calcium propionate, mono-glyceride, datem, baby oat flakes, enzymes, ascorbic acid.

Sourdough Bread from Bread Los Angeles (local)
Organic Valley Bacon
Organic Valley White Cheddar Cheese
Organic Beef Steak Tomatoes
The Organic Creamy Tomato Soup is our Chef's specialty. It's kind of a secret, but here's a recipe that closely approximates it. We're sorry but it is scaled for volume production. Be sure to use all organic ingredients :-)
|NAME: CreamyTomato Soup|
|Roma Tomato, diced||1||Case|
|Tomato Paste||1/2||#10 Can|
|Diced Tomato||3||#10 Can|
|Diced Onion||1||400 Pan|
|Diced Celery||1||200 Pan|
|Diced Leeks||1||200 Pan|
|White Wine||1||Bottle (750ml)|
|Cream (can substitute 1/2 & 1/2)||2||Gallons|
|Salt & Pepper||as needed|
|PROCEDURE: Melt butter in a stock pot. Sautee onions, celery, leeks until transparent but not brown. Add both types of diced tomatoes, brown sugar and garlic and cook 5 more minutes. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 1-2 hours. Remove bay leaves. Puree soup with hand held mixer. Add water to obtain desired thickness and bring soup back up to simmer. Yields 6 gallons|
